Image Driven Hydrological Components-based Fish Habitability Modeling in Riparian Wetlands Triggered by Damming

The main focus of the current study is on assessing habitability some selected fishes in Indo-Bangladesh barind tract wetland pursuance damming using hydrological components such as hydro-period, water depth, and presence consistency deriving from satellite images. For pre-dam post-dam periods, a rule-based decision tree modeling approach was used to integrate aforementioned factors determine habitat suitability for chosen like carp fishes, shrimps, tilapia, catfishes. Damming has hastened pace transformation, enhancing inconsistency, shortening hydro-duration, shallowing depth. Based model, small part identified good fish (16.54–39.90%) prior damming, but virtually all portions have become least suited after habitability. A field survey showed that fishing quantity growth rate higher before alteration steadily decreased over period. Image-driven parameters estimate are novel techniques; however, essential elements food availability quality metrics could be included improve result.
